About

Hey, I am Miranda.

I am a child of God.

I am Catholic and appreciate my relationship with my church.

I am a wife to Jordan.

I spend as much time with my family as I can. My mother is my best friend and I have (and always will be) Daddy’s little girl.

I am a third generation South Dakotan. I love life in South Dakota. People are nice, crime is low, items are less expensive, and life is slower. I live in the largest city in the state, and it takes me no more than 30 minutes to get from one end of town to the other. I have never lived on a farm. My family hunts.

I attended the University of South Dakota for both my undergraduate and graduate studies. I have a Bachelor in Business Finance degree with a minor in Communication Studies and a Master in Business Administration degree.

I lead a youth contemporary praise and worship band with my husband at our church. My husband is gifted with many musical talents and amazes me every time he picks up an instrument or sings.

I have always been passionate about writing. In 5th grade, I won a “Young Authors” contest at my school. I was a pretty big deal. [enter sarcasm here!]

I am a public speaker. I was the person in Speech 101 in college who loved giving speeches – especially the impromptu ones.

I work for a non-profit hunger relief organization and have an incredible passion for helping those in need.

I enjoy laughter and having fun.

I am an avid fan of Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia, and pretty much any chick flick. I play video games with my husband. I quilt and make cards. I enjoy gardening.

This is what I am living on today – Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. (NASB)
